Chandler Sturm focuses her practice on all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition.
She has been involved in numerous litigation matters and has assisted in various stages of disputes, ranging from pre-suit activities, district court litigation through appeal to the Court of Appeals and even at the U.S. Supreme Court. She has worked on party and amicus briefs in the district court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
At the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Chandler has prepared and prosecuted patent applications, as well as worked on appeal and post-issuance proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board.
Chandler is experienced in a broad range of technologies including mechanical products, computer technology and consumer products. She also has experience in trademark prosecution and trademark proceedings in industries such as retail store services, retail clothing and consumer goods areas.
Chandler holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering with a concentration in solid mechanics from Villanova University, where she also minored in business and finance.
