Olivia Harris focuses her practice on corporate counseling, enforcement and litigation involving trademark, copyright, entertainment, advertising and Internet law issues, representing clients across industries, including many of the world’s leading technology, media, e-commerce, consumer electronics, luxury goods and publishing companies.
With substantial experience developing and implementing comprehensive global intellectual property policing and enforcement programs to protect clients’ trademarks and copyrighted works and to combat the importation and distribution of infringing and counterfeit goods, Olivia counsels clients on issues related to monitoring and policing avenues of e-commerce and web-based marketplaces and platforms, uncovering and combating piracy problems, and securing domain names through a variety of domain name dispute processes.
Olivia routinely litigates disputes in federal courts around the country, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, handling all facets of litigation, as well as resolution of cases through settlement, mediation and arbitration, and obtaining and enforcing temporary, preliminary and permanent injunctive relief. She also handles international and domestic trademark prosecution and clearance work.
